Interiors for the hours
you are actually home.
A twelve-person studio in Mumbai. We take on around fourteen projects a year — small enough that the person who draws your plan is the person who walks your site.

Selected work
Fourteen a year,
and not one more.
Every project below was drawn and run by the same person from the first conversation to the last snag. Point at one to see it.
- 01Sea-Facing Reset
A 1990s sea-facing flat with the view walled off by a corridor.
- 02Long Kitchen
Eleven feet by nine, cooking for six most nights.
- 03Two Desks
A 34-seat studio floor that had to stay open but stop being loud.
- 04Grandmother's Teak
Sixty-year-old Burma teak the family would not part with, and were right not to.
- 05Light Well
A weekend house that is empty five days a week and full on the sixth.
- 06Studio for One
Four hundred and eighty square feet, one occupant, a budget that was not negotiable.
What we take on
Four ways to
start with us.
Design Only
The drawings, the specification, and your own contractor.Everything you need to build it, without us doing the building — for people who already have a trusted contractor.Fee basis₹250–400 per sq ft, fixed at the startTypically5–8 weeks to a complete setWhat it includesKitchens
The one room where a bad layout is felt three times a day.Modular or fully bespoke, planned around how the household actually cooks.Fee basis₹2,800–6,000 per sq ft of kitchen areaTypically6–11 weeksWhat it includesWorkspaces
Open floors that are not loud.Offices and studios, planned for acoustics and phased so your team keeps working.Fee basis₹1,400–2,800 per sq ftTypically10–20 weeks, usually phasedWhat it includesBefore you ask us
Roughly what
does it come to?
Set the carpet area, pick a finish level, and read the range. It is the number we would open a conversation at — not a quote, and not binding on either of us.
Indicative range, excluding GST
—to—
- Joinery & carpentry42%—
- Civil & finishes20%—
- Electrical & lighting15%—
- Loose furniture15%—
- Design fee8%—
A range, not a quote. The real number moves with the state of the flat, how much civil work it needs, and what you already own.
Get a real numberThe order of things
Nothing starts until
the number is agreed.
Five stages, in this order, every time. You always know which one you are in and what has to be true before the next one opens.
- Fixed fee, agreed before drawings start
- One designer stays with you to handover
- Weekly site photos, whether you ask or not
- Snag list closed before final payment
First conversation
A week, usuallyWe come to the flat, measure nothing, and mostly listen. By the end of it we can tell you a realistic number and whether we are the right studio for the job. No charge, no drawings.
Survey and layouts
2 to 3 weeksA proper measured survey, then two or three layout options. One gets taken forward. This is the only stage where changing your mind is free, so we push you to use it.
Drawings and specification
3 to 5 weeksElevations, sections, electrical, lighting, and a written specification naming every material by brand and code. If it is not on this set, it is not in the price.
On site
10 to 18 weeksOur team, our supervision, weekly photographs whether you ask for them or not. One designer stays with the project from here to the end.
Snagging and handover
2 weeksWe write the snag list ourselves before you see it, close it, and only then invoice the final stage. It is deliberately large enough to be worth coming back for.
What clients say
Six months later,
once the dust settles.
Sample copy. These are written examples, not real reviews — no client is being quoted here. The studio's own testimonials replace them before launch.
They told us on the first call which two things would cost more than we expected. Both did. Nothing else did.
I cook twice a day. Six months in, I have not once had to move something to reach something else.
They phased it across four weekends so we never lost a working day. That mattered more to us than the design did.
My grandmother's dining table is still the first thing you see. Everything else was built to leave it alone.
4.9average over 68 Google reviews —an illustrative figure for this demonstration, not a verified rating.
Tell us about the flat.
A first conversation costs nothing and usually ends with a realistic number. If we are not right for the job we will say so and point you somewhere better.
